I work in healthcare full time, so photography has, for the last 9 years, been a hobby but one that I'm passionate about.

I started photographing people, and models, experimenting with light, styles and exploring my creativity. I also did a lot of competing with my photographs and gained some national awards and qualifications,

Then lockdown hit, just at the point where I'd gained the qualification I'd been working on for two years, and when I was looking for a new direction, so it was the perfect time to try something new.

Animal and nature were the obvious choice - we all spent a lot of time in the countryside then, right? - and it was inevitable too as I love animals and just being outside.

I love just sitting, watching, and immersing myself in the world of the animals and birds I photograph., especially at dawn when a surprising range of creatures can be seen.

I'm also mum to Castro, my horse, Pod and Pea (Romanian rescue dog and cat that were found together) AJ (Cairn terrier) and Tips (cat).

Someone suggested to me that I turn some of my images into cards, and that's where I started this business, dipping my toe in the water. I was soon adding prints, and coasters, and this year, fabric designs and much more.
